"In a world full of superficial people, there could be anything but maturity."
and i made that [i think]
Being in this world where superficiality prevails, we face many challenges that give us many scars - physical and/or emotional - from situations that can be considered very shallow or insignificant. These scars may last only a day. Or worse, It may even last a lifetime, if the said wound is very deep and painful.
Grieving and wallowing with the dark experiences that gave us these wounds won't help them heal. For most of the time, I think that we need to experience these challenges in order for us to grow.
In this third paragraph i would like to say that there are only two ways to "heal". It is through Forgiveness and Apathy. But you can only choose one.
What would you choose?
Well obviously we'd all choose the former. But some might still choose the latter, that is if they don't want to grow up.
I myself am a very forgiving person. If I weren't, then I wouldn't have a lot of friends whom I truly love.
I've learned that we shouldn't have an attitude that is very pococurante towards life. If we do so, then we will never learn and consequently, never grow.
So what would it be?? Grow up, or get left behind??
